Serving in executive-level positions, Ms. Jennifer Alden has been a corporate partner providing strategic supply chain leadership in a variety of cross-functional, cross-divisional areas within operating groups and across corporations, saving millions of dollars and improving efficiency by double digits. She played integral roles in current and future business integrations and acquisitions in the evolution of Global Supply Chain Networks and with commercial strategic planning processes.
Jennifer’s accountability included all analysis for potential sourcing and feasibility projects and initiatives, (total cost of ownership [TCO] analysis, make versus buy modeling, spend analysis, cost savings potential and all feasibility studies). She established one Procurement department with functional responsibility to strategically source all major commodities totaling nearly $1B in spend, as well as establishing and managing multiple international supply chains.
She managed corporate sourcing managers and directors in all areas and commodities within manufacturing, capital equipment, ingredients, packaging, maintenance parts and services, and indirect services (consulting, temporary labor, marketing and travel) and consistently partnered with the International Purchasing Group to maximize cost savings across regions and improve the contracting process. Additionally, Jennifer partnered with all major stakeholders, ensuring corporate needs were met, assisting in budget management, and monitoring supplier performance.
